The BIOS has to detect it, and in most cases if there is an external video card installed it will automatically switch to the external video card. Does this card require a PCIe power connection?
I did a search and could not find out. If it does require the PCIe power and its not connected or no output from power supply that would be a reason its not detected. To reset the CMOS battery, disconnect the AC power from the unit, open the case and remove the CR battery on the motherboard for at least 10 minutes. Reinstall the battery, observing polarity, and then reconnect the AC power and power the PC on and see if that fixes it.
